Stephen King's Cell

Photobucket

WHERE WERE YOU ON OCTOBER 1ST AT 3:03 P.M.?

Graphic artist Clay Riddell was in the heart of Boston on that brilliant autumn afternoon when hell was unleashed before his eyes. Without warning, carnage and chaos reigned. Ordinary people fell victim to the basest, most animalistic destruction.
And the apocalypse began with the ring of a cell phone...
I read this book several years ago, and to this day I still enjoy it. It is a nice twist to zombies and tears at your heart strings as you follow Clay Riddell and a few other survivors as he tries to find his son. Mr. King really turns his "zombies" into more of a thinking class, that has tapped into it's animal side and leaves all of it's humanity behind. The zombies band together and in the end you wonder if there is any way that the world will ever be the same again.
